MasterCard’s Are You Credit Wise? program is a unique way to break through to college students with important money management information. Since college students are more likely to receive and act upon vital money management information if it comes from one of their peers rather than a parent, professor or administrator, MasterCard has developed a program focusing on peer-to-peer communication.

The Are You Credit Wise? program recruits and trains student interns to lead campus-wide education campaigns focused on the fundamentals of good credit habits—reading and understanding credit reports, responsible use of payment cards, and building a good credit history.

Program materials are also available for free download for educators and students not participating in the internship but interested in bringing the program to their campus. See Popular Downloads section to the right.
